An extraordinary composition commissioned by a Protestant parish to mark the anniversary of the Reformation.
In St. Anna Church, Luther was supposed to revoke his 95 Theses. As we know, he resisted and fled by night. The Reformation took its course. The opera explores the struggle over individual decisions in the context of global events.
